Why is early learning important?

Current research has suggested there is a strong relationship between quality early childhood education and successful health (physical and psychological), educational and employment outcomes later in life. The first 1000 days of your child’s life can have a very real influence on how they grow, develop and learn – not just now, but throughout their entire life.

What is provided?

We provide nappies, bed/cot sheets and sunscreen. A healthy and nutritious menu is provided including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late supper. We are happy to cater for any dietary requirements including allergies and cultural preferences. Please be advised all our centres aim to be nut-free.

What do I need to provide with my child?

We advise all families to provide a couple of changes of clothes (sometimes fun can get a little messy!), a water bottle, milk bottles for babies and formula is required. All our centres are registered Sun Smart centres and require all children bring a full-brim sun hat for outdoor play. Children must wear at minimum a cap sleeve, as sleeveless tops and singlets are not permitted. We request families apply sunscreen upon arrival at the centre and it will be reapplied after rest time or water play.

Can I enrol online?

Absolutely! After you have visited your chosen centre for a tour, you can jump online and click ‘Enrol Now’. From here you will be asked to register for QikKids Online where you can complete a full enrolment form.

Do you offer funded Kindergarten?

We sure do! Each of our centres offer a full day, fully funded kinder program to give your child the best start. You can read about our program here.

Can you tell me about the fees?

Fees vary depend on your chosen centre. Please contact the centre management for more information about fees and inclusions. Fees are paid via ezidebit from a bank account or credit card. They can be paid on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Depending on the regularity of the payments fees are to be one week or two weeks in advance.

What kind of qualifications do your educators have?

In line with the National Quality Standards, all staff must hold (at minimum) a Certificate III in Children’s Services. Room leaders will always be either Diploma or Bachelor qualified. Every centre has a university-qualified Early Childhood Teacher leading the Kindergarten program. All staff at the centre must undergo a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance. All our educators are required to hold a current First Aid and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training as part of their employment requirements.

How will I know what my child has done that day?

We utilise Storypark to provide families with on-going reflection and documentation of their children. Our educators have daily conversations with families to keep you up to date with what your child is learning and their developmental achievements. All our centres have an open-door policy and welcome families to pop in anytime for a chat or even to join us for lunch. Each service also has their own Facebook page, so make sure you follow us there for frequent updates.


What is your complaints policy and procedure?

We encourage families to discuss their child’s development, especially raising any concerns or issues you may have.

Any feedback, complaints and grievances raised help us improve our childcare quality and strengthen our positive relationships between our families and our Service. All stakeholders have the right to have a respectful response to their concerns.

All parties involved in a complaint investigation are always required to follow our company code of conduct and the complainant is encouraged to attempt to resolve the complaint directly with the service where possible. Full details available on FAMILY GRIEVANCE Policy
